AllSides Connect is a customized video platform enabling guided, small-group discussions.
Conversations through AllSides Connect can be organized by individuals, organizations, schools, events, or businesses. If you are an individual and you wish to host your own conversation group, simply choose a topic, and AllSides Connect will give you a link to your own private conversation room. Then just invite some people and pick a time. Now you are ready to start – AllSides Connect will guide you and your group through a dynamic conversation.
Note: If you are hosting or joining a planned conversation through an organization, school, event, or business, they will offer further guidance on how to get started.

Getting Started as a Host on AllSides Connect
Step 1: Make an Account
On the top right of your screen, you should see a “Sign Up” button. Once you click on that page, you will be asked a series of questions for your account and matching profile. After filling out the form, click “Submit.” Once you fill out the form, you'll receive an email from with more details and next steps. When you receive it, please be sure to complete the requested email verification step.
Step 2: Log In
Log in to your account by clicking the “Log In” button at the top right of the page.
Step 3: Choose a Conversation Topic
Review the available conversation guides and choose the topic for your hosted conversation. Click "Use this Guide," then "Create a Conversation." AllSides Connect will give you a unique host URL for the conversation you plan to host. Send the URL via email or calendar invitation to a small group of participants. (Note: AllSides Connect works best for groups of up to 8 people, with 4-6 being an ideal conversation group size.)
Step 3: Join the Conversation
You as the host, plus all other invited participants, can simply click the assigned URL to join your hosted conversation at the designated time. All participants connect face-to-face over the platform. In the built-in conversation panel, you will find a countdown timer and structured “prompts,” ensuring the timely completion of conversations. When done with the last conversation round, please complete any requested "next steps," then simply close your browser. You did it!
